publication!

initial pages

i'm happy with the square format i've taken as a nod the music-inspired aspect of my project - excited to see this printed true to size when the whole publication is finished.

My final outcomes are starting to make more sense in my head, so far i'm thinking it would be appropriate to have:

*a sleeve (true to the size of a record)

*a publication (also true to size)

*3 sets of postcards (size of a cd cover)

*a pull out poster

*a short animation to a snippet of a song

*a tshirt design? almost as merch?

happy with my colour palettes and overall aesthetic of the pages i have so far. i was worried about continuously using the same colour schemes but i feel like i have elevated my processes and made more polished and refined? also the overall aesthetic of m body of work at the end of this project will be different to anything i've done so far and i really feel like i resonate with the work that i'm making for this brief .- which is a good good thing :)

 

to take forward:

*go to a record store! document! primary research

 *finish publication!

*start thinking about pull out poster and postcard designs!
