have been attempting to make work from the list of words I made but I feel like I'm lacking direction and intent. I'm not happy with the illustration above, it feels too stagnant and too similar to the work I was making last year that I'm no longer enthused about.
Made some sticker/tshirt designs from some doodles I made during a briefing, trying to let go of concept and just attempting to get the ball rolling - it was nice to make something anyway even though it isn't particularly research heavy or groundbreaking. trying to harness this idea of making something out of nothing to get the ball rolling again.
made a quick fire book with phrases i've collected and experimented with type - have realised i do enjoy working with type so this might be worth bringing into my work a bit more.
